If a dog could have it, she had style
And the power to make a person smile
So stately and so dignified
If a dog could have it, she had pride...

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my pets be cared for in their own home?
Yes. Your pets will be visited in their own home. This helps maintain their routine as much as possible and makes them more comfortable in familiar surroundings.

How many visits a day does my pet need?

It's best to have a minimum of two visits per day but this would be discussed with you during your initial consultation.

What does each visit entail?

This can include feeding, walking, cleaning litter, playing etc Also things like watering plants, washing dishes, light housework

When are the services available?

Mainly early mornings, evenings after 5pm and also weekends and bank holidays. We can facilitate day time walks and visits in many cases.

What are the charges?

Prices start at €14 but this would depend on individual requirements which would be discussed at initial consultation.

What if something happens and you are not able to get to my pets?

There are emergency backup contact numbers on file as well as your vet's number in case of an emergency.

What can I expect from a professional sitter?

Scheduled, reliable care. Generally, the visits will consist of providing fresh food and water, play time, outdoor time, and special loving attention for your pets. Other services may be provided such as taking rubbish out out, rotating lights, bringing mail in, etc .

Will my pets and I meet the pet sitter before service starts?

Yes! In fact, this is a requirement before pet sitting services can begin. All new clients will be scheduled for a free booking consultation. During this time, the pet sitter will meet the pet owners, have an opportunity to interact with the pets and be able to go over all contracts, policies and guidelines.

I have a family member that lives close by and will also visit. Is that okay?

Many people like to include neighbours, relatives, and friends in pet sitting duties. These well-intentioned actions cause much confusion during a shared responsibility sitting assignment. Most common among problems is over-feeding, unlocked doors, lost keys, or missed feedings. We absolutely cannot be responsible for any sitting assignment where others are going to share the workload.

Should I call/mail/text before I leave or when I get back?

Absolutely! Give your pet sitter a call/mail/text right before you leave to confirm that you are leaving as planned. Another call is in order when you return home to let the pet sitter know your pets are safely in your care once more.

What happens if I will be delayed in returning home?

It is extremely important that you let us know immediately if you will be arriving home late from your holiday in order for care to be continued.

What if the pet sitter is not available during the time I will be away?

Pet sitters take holidays too! At times, pet sitters will also be away or unavailable during the time a client needs service. Clients will be referred to one of our trusted pet sitting service colleagues that will deliver a similar standard of care.

I don't know my neighbours…so who can be my contact?

You can list your vet or a close family member .
